After a 3-0 night, I improved my record on here to 12-6 and 11-2 ATS. The Yankees and Mets have played a big part in my ATS record as they continue to dominate the diamond. The Mets won again yesterday, now 14-1 in their last 15 games, while the Yankees crushed the Orioles to take a commanding 10 game lead in the AL East. Each day on NY Betting News, we will provide you with three free picks which will include one of the New York teams, if they are in action. Today, we take a look at FanDuel Sportsbook odds for the recommended sports bets.
New York Yankees -2 at Toronto Blue Jays
FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: NYY -2 (Even)
DraftKings Sportsbook Odds: NYY -2 (-103)
When the Yankees offense gets on these runs, you don’t want to watch the parade go by. Instead, get on the ride while you can. The Yankees have won eight in a row and have scored 54 runs in their last six games. Next up is Toronto, who have played the Yankees fairly tough this year, winning three of their nine match-ups. (Hey, that’s better than most teams.) The problem Toronto faces tonight is the Yankees offense is clicking and Domingo German (14-2, 3.98) is on the mound. German has only faced the Jays once this year, but he shut them out in the win. The Blue Jays will go with Thomas Pannone (2-4, 5.98) who has spent most of the season in the bullpen and has taken his share of beatings on the mound. As long as the Yankees don’t jet lag on their short flight, it should be another 2+ run win for them which I am on. I also like the Yankees scoring over 5.5 runs again.
Los Angeles Angels +215 at Boston Red Sox
FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: LAA +210
DraftKings Sportsbook Odds: LAA +215
Once again, we have an inflated line by the handicappers knowing the public will jump on Boston because Chris Sale (5-11, 4.68) is pitching. And once again, I can warn you that the Chris Sale from 2018 is not returning. Not to mention the Red Sox from 2018 are long gone as well. Not to say this Red Sox team isn’t decent, and not to say they shouldn’t be favored tonight. But at -220? That’s pushing it. Give me the value here. The Angels will send Dillon Peters (2-0, 3.20) to the mound at Fenway Park against Sale. The Angels are on a rough stretch right now, losing six in a row and are piling up some injuries. This has been an rough road trip for them. But you can’t ignore the value here. The Red Sox are struggling, losing nine of their last 10 and had a late night last night waiting out a rain delay in Boston. I’ll take a shot on the Angels and the +215 value tonight.
Atlanta Braves -1.5 at Miami Marlins
FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: Atl -1.5 (-130)
DraftKings Sportsbook Odds: Atl -1.5 (-133)
The Braves are coming in on a high winning two out of three on the road against the AL Central-leading Twins. Tonight they put up Dallas Kuechel (3-4, 3.86) to face the Marlins who are losers of six straight. The Braves are 10-2 already against the Marlins this year and have the NL’s best road record. All these numbers and a favorable pitching matchup suggest a Braves win tonight and I am jumping on Atlanta at 1-5. The Marlins will send Elieser Hernandez (1-4, 5.86) to the hill tonight to try and prevent the slide from continuing. I also really like the Braves OVER 4.5 runs tonight, especially after just putting up 23 runs over the last two nights in Minnesota.
